#116 - checking out the art in mapua

An awesome piece of art

On mine and kevins road trip we decided to go to Mapua

While there we did see some interesting artwork and plenty of Knick knacks

#115 - stefan and becca hit bk for breakfast ( invite from Jo and Kevin )

Today me and Becca were invited by Jo and kevin to join them for a healthy serving of bk for breakfast

It was of course very healthy with stefan and becca both having a chicken tender value meal with sweet and sour sauce on the side

It was a great time and we had a good gossip session with Jo and Kevin

We then decided to go on a road trip...... Stay tuned for the next post

#114 - Becca's suprise for stefan

A beautiful view of the lights of Nelson from Walters Bluff

Tonight half way through our monopoly game Becca decided to kidnap me to show me a suprise

She took me to Walters Bluff where there was a beautful view of the nelson lights

Shortly after we arrived the real suprise began when fire works began to appear in the sky from the opera in the park ( video below )

#113 - Becca absolutely destroys stefan at monopoly

So the game begins

Tonight Me and Becca play a heated battle of monopoly which was a fight to the death in which unfortunately Stefan came out second best.

His good looks , charm and talkativeness could not save him this time as Becca used her account skills to absolutely destroy stefan , own all the properties and pretty much be richer than the bank it's self.


Stefan slowly starts to be defeated


All the money and properties that Becca had in the end - poor Stefan

By the end of it all stefan had to cling to his bag of thin cut salt n vinegar chip and bottle of fizz to keep for the shock defeat that becca gave to him

#112 - Round 2 at all you can eat pizza

Tonight me, Nadia , Sammy sam and Dani went to 623 on the rocks for round 2 of all you can eat pizza

This time it wasn's so busy so we didnt have to wait an hour to have our irst pizza.

We managed to get through 4 and 1/2 pizza's between the the four of us ( stefan ate 2 and 1/2 pizzas )

Here is some details on some of the pizza's that we ate :



This is a berry custard crumble dessert pizza - it was alrite ( oats on a pizza don't work well)



This is a banana chocolate dessert pizza , it has banana , ice cream and chocolate chocolate chocolate - the best pizza I've ever had

#110 - Stefan , Becca and the family go for a picnic and a walk along the beach

Today after work I was invited by Becca and her family to go along to rabbit island and have a walk along the beach and a picnic

We had heaps of fun , I managed to chuck becca in the ocean ( see blog post #111 for the video )

After the walk we had an awesome picnic which had plenty of yummy food and drink

#109 - Becca loses her shoe feeding the ducks

Can you spot the shoe in this photo ??

Today me , Becca and Hannah decided to go to and feed the ducks at the washbourne garden pond.

We took the ducks favorite food ( white bread) and as we were feeding them we got a little board and started chucking bread at each other

Some landed on Becca's foot and as she tried to kick it off she lost of shoe ( some how through a fence ) which ended up landing in the middle of the pond.

Me and Hannah had a dam good laugh about that

#108 - Stefan goes to watch the Barista battle

Entrance to the playhouse

Since I'm going to be the new Barista at fresh choice Richmonds takeaway coffee stand I decided to go check out the " Barista battle " at the play house today

Basically how it works is

- You have 15 mins to prepare
- 15 minutes to prepare 3 sets of 4 coffees ( 4x espresso shots , 4x cappas and 4x your own made up signature drink )
- and 15 mins to clean up

Today there were 7 Batista's competing and the top 2 go straight to the nationals
